Sunwell's versatile spiral wound gaskets come in four distinct types for varied applications:
1. SW600-R Basic Type
The Basic construction type is reinforced with multiple piles of metal, providing enhanced stability and superior compression. Ideal for tongue and groove, male and female, or grooved to flat face flange assemblies.
2. SW600-IR Inner Ring Type
Featuring a solid inner metal ring, this type acts as a compression stopper, effectively preventing solids accumulation and reducing fluid turbulence. Perfect for safeguarding against erosion and damage between flange bore and the gasket's inside diameter, it is ideal for male and female pipe flanges.
3. SW600-CG Outer Ring Type
Designed with a solid outer ring, this type precisely aligns the gasket on the flange face, providing additional radial strength to prevent blowout and acts as a compression limiter. Its user-friendly design ensures easy installation, suitable for flat face and raised face flanges. Recommended for class 900 and above with an internal ring.

4. SW600-CGI Inner & Outer Rings Type
This type combines an inner and outer ring, offering superior compression limiting for both sides of the gasket and preventing corrosion on the flange face. Ideal for high-pressure and high-temperature applications, especially in class 900 and above, or where corrosive or toxic media are present.
