Sunwell Seals' spiral wound gaskets come in four specialized types:
1. SW600-R Basic Type
This basic construction type features inner and outer diameters reinforced by multiple metal piles without filler, enhancing stability and compression characteristics. - Ideal for tongue and groove, male and female, or grooved to flat face flange assemblies.
2. SW600-IR Inner Ring Type
The solid inner metal ring serves as a compression stopper, filling the annular space to prevent solid accumulation, reduce fluid turbulence, and minimize erosion and damage between flange bore and gasket. - Perfect for male and female pipe flanges.
3. SW600-CG Outer Ring Type
The solid outer ring precisely aligns the gasket on the flange face, adding radial strength to prevent blowout and acting as a compression limiter. Easy installation is ensured as the outer ring aligns with bolts. - Suitable for flat and raised face flanges; for class 900 and above, an internal ring is recommended.

4. SW600-CGI Inner & Outer Rings Type
Featuring both inner and outer rings, this gasket provides additional compression limiting stoppers, preventing flange face corrosion. - Ideal for flat and raised face flanges, specified for high pressure/temperature service, especially class 900 and above or in corrosive/toxic environments.

The SUNWELL SW600 Spiral Wound Gasket is engineered with a V-shaped metallic strip and a soft non-metallic filler. Support rings inside and outside the spiral enhance the gasket's handling, fitting, and versatility.
